This beautifully elegant Elizabethan House is set on
the edge of the tudor village of Cockfield.
Each of the 22 bedrooms which are named after
members of the families to have owned the manor
since 1520 have a different character. For example
The Merrick Suite has its own sitting room and
private balcony overlooking the South Downs while
Elizabeth boasts its own private staircase and four
poster bed. Some of the rooms have original
fireplaces and panelling and many offer delightful
garden views.
Ockenden Manor is a place to relax and to enjoy
the traditional and gentler side of life.
