By the 16th century the hotel was well established as the -Locanda of the Luna- then was further enhanced in the 18th century when the sumptuous Marco Polo lounge was embellished with stunning frescoes from Gianbattista Tiepolos School. From the moment you enter into the spacious reception hall - you can not help being awed by the magnificence of the soaring ceilings / huge chandeliers / antique furniture / fresh flowers / and fine oil paintings. Each public room is outstanding - from the ornately imposing lobby with its splendid Oriental carpet to the serenely attractive Canova Restaurant - renowned for its fine cuisine / attentive service and relaxing atmosphere. Nothing can surpass the elegance of the Marco Polo room with its enormous paintings / beautiful mirrors / soft lighting and massive murano glass chandeliers hanging from the sensational frescoed ceiling.
