  • This beautiful building, located in the center of broadcasting city Hilversum, was built around 1930 by architect Duiker and is considered an architectural monument. The Best Western Grand Hotel & Theater Gooiland has 55 rooms, including several suites. As a guest of the hotel, you can enjoy the sauna, fitness or solarium facilities. Next to these facilities, the hotel offers a lot of possibilities to organize meetings or parties for small or large groups, thanks to the open connections between several locations. These locations are a brasserie, restaurant, typical Dutch Café, Tropical Bar, roof terrace and Club Gooiland (discotheque). There are also many possibilities to visit the theatre next door, which can complete your weekend. A special dinner can be arranged in the Japanese restaurant Sensei that is also located in the building.
General Information
  • ·Highway A1 Amsterdam-Amersfoort: Take the Laren/Hilversum exit and follow the signs for Hilversum. Having arrived in Hilversum you will come to a roundabout. At this point, keep right and head toward Mediapark. Continue straight onward past the first set of traffic lights, over the viaduct and past the Mediapark. At the end of the road, follow the bend to the left. At the second set of traffic lights that you will have come to after the first set you passed after arriving in Hilversum, turn left toward Centrum (you will see this sign 50 metres before the intersection). Keep following this to Gravelandseweg. When you get to another set of traffic lights, keep going straight past a row of shops (sign reads Doorgaand Verkeer). The road will curve right, left and then right again, but just keep following it. At the traffic lights immediately after the post office and in front of the Schaaf bookshop, turn left onto Brinkweg. Drive past the entrance to the Gooise Brink parking garage, past the RAF, and then follow the slight curve to the left. You will then see the Best Western Grand Hotel & Theater Gooiland building on your right. At this point, do not drive much further and park your car in the parking lot on your right next to Gooiland.
