- Built in 1841, the Bayerischer Hof is today the largest privately owned hotel in Germany. Herman Volkhardt bought the hotel in 1897. Having undergone a complete refurbishment program lasting 5 years the hotel offers all modern technologies but in with the traditional and noble atmosphere. The hotel offers the following facilities and services; 395 deluxe guest rooms, including 49 suites, 38 conference rooms seating up to 1620 persons, a garden restaurant, winter garden and summer terrace.
