  • First opened in 1912 the historical Astoria hotel was refurbished in 2000/01. It is ideally located in the very heart of St. Petersburg next to the landmark St. Isaacs Cathedral in a walking distance to the hermitage museum and Nevsky prospect / close to other main attractions and shopping areas. Traditional and elegant furnishings and Russian antiquest combine with comfortable and modern facilities in each room to create an ambiance unlike any other in the city, ideal for both business and leisure guests. Many rooms have a beautiful view to St. Isaacs Cathedral. New Russian restaurant Divadovs offers fine Russian and international cuisine in a traditional setting. The unique point and pride of the restaurant is magnificent caviar and vodka bar. In the evening guests can enjoy live music by resident gypsies. Davidovs is situated on the ground floor overlooking St. Isaacs Cathedral. Popular Rotonda bar offers the wide choice of snacks and beverages as well as light dining throughout the day. Starting from 3 pm our harpist and pianist perform in the lobby. A number of private rooms are available for private dining plus additional facilities in the adjacent Angleterre hotel.
