  • The Crowne Plaza Hotel is located at the Plaza de Espana, in the heart of Madrid, and has been completely renovated in 2002-2003. Its privileged situation in Madrid's historic, cultural and shopping centre, combined with the building's imposing structure has played a major role in the Hotel's appeal. Less than a kilometre from the main cultural attractions like the Royal Palace, Royal Theatre, Plaza Mayor, "Madrid de los Austrias", etc.The hotel has 306 rooms, including 41 suites. The elegantly decorated rooms are distributed over 17 floors with facilities for disabled people and non-smokers. All rooms are equipped with individual safes, interactive TV via satellite, air conditioning, minibar, full bath with hairdryer, magnifying mirror and bath robe, piped music, direct automatic telephone, computer modem connection, trouser press, iron and board, and an efficient room service 24 hours a day. Many of the rooms are connecting and have a private terrace with views over the Plaza de Espana, the Royal Palace and the Casa de Campo Park. For relaxation our clients can enjoy the gym with sauna, the "Plaza" cocktail bar, "Los Lagos" breakfast room and the tempting Spanish Mediterranean cuisine of the restaurant "El Mirador de la Plaza de Espana".For your business meetings and social functions, the Crowne Plaza Madrid is also part of the Meeting Success, a system which operates with the utmost efficiency. Eight conference rooms are available to clients, some of which are modular and with natural daylight, with a capacity from 10 to 800 guests.Clients may also use the Business Corner, a communications centre equipped with computer, printer, internet e-mail, fax, photocopier and telephone. The parking at the Plaza de Espana offers a special rate for guests of the Hotel.
