The resort is nestled within a fifteen acre private estate on the eastern tip of St Thomas overlooking the Atlantic Ocean and the island of St John. This Renaissance inspired hotel is a replica of a Venetian palace and features over ten thousand square feet of meeting and event space including indoor and outdoor venues. All guest rooms are housed in six separate buildings offering lovely views overlooking the ocean and beach, pool area and hotel gardens. / A birth certificate or voter registration card is required of United States citizens entering the US Virgin Islands. A passport is required for travel to the British Virgin Islands or other Caribbean destinations. * Please note effective January 4 2004 a resort fee of USD 20 per room per day will apply to all reservations booked on or after November 26 2003. This fee will provide guests with the added convenience and greater value of a single charge for a large variety of hotel amenities and recreational activities including in-room coffee service, local telephone calls, shopping shuttle to Charlotte Amalie, valet parking, use of the fitness center and tennis courts plus unlimited use of Hobie Cat sailboats, kayaks, snorkeling equipment and windsurfers.
