  • Originally built in 1890 as the family home of Edmund and Amy Hanbury, Hanbury Manor served as a private boarding school for girls from 1923-1986. In 1990 the manor house and grounds became a country house hotel combining five star hotel and country club with golf, leisure activities and superb hospitality. The perfect place to hold a conference or to relax, this Jacobean manor house is set in two hundred acres of Hertfordshire parkland just thirty miles north of London and fifteen minutes from the M25 motorway. The Ware train station is three miles from the hotel with service to central London's Liverpool Street station. * Please note all areas of the manor house require formal dress in the evening after 7pm.
