To compliment the already extensive £1 million development and refurbishment programme, completed summer 1999, we have now built the ultimate, state-of-the-art air conditioned conference and banqueting facility.Our brief was to design a premier venue with a contemporary slant and an international feel. We have utilised the richness and strength of natural materials and high quality finishes to meet and where possible to exceed the expectations of the international traveller and discerning conference organiser.Capable of catering for in excess of 300 delegates, the new venue incorporates the largest conference room in South Leicestershire. Delegates will have the use of the very latest in presentation equipment, technology and category 5 cabling, as well as being supported by experienced co-ordinators and provided with an excellent food & beverage service. The new venue will be able to cater for every possible type of meeting, seminar, product launch or social event. As a social venue, it can be easily transformed with the lighting control, exquisite furniture and portable dance floor. It is hoped that this combination, quality and attention to detail will make us the most unique conference and banqueting centre in the Midlands.To support the increasing demand for accommodation the development includes a further twelve non-smoking business class bedrooms, together with a suite with its own lounge/meeting room incorporating mini-bar and whirlpool spa bath. To maximise the benefits of this superb facility, we have a civil wedding licence, thus providing a wedding venue unsurpassed in the area. Complimented by a champagne and canapé reception or a more substantial wedding breakfast buffet, we can host your special day from beginning to end, concluding with a honeymoon night in one of our traditional four poster bedrooms.We have been successful in securing contracts for the new centre and have a solid base of business throughout 2000. Our primary focus, in addition to our local business will be to build on national and international conference business.Situated in the centre of England, on the borders of Leicestershire and Northamptonshire the Three Swans Hotel is easily accessed by road and rail. The Midland Mainline train station is less than a mile from the hotel and is maintained by the frequent London St Pancras to Sheffield service. Equally, the hotel offers free parking and is supported by the excellent road network of M1, M6 and A14. Transfers can be arranged from East Midlands and Birmingham International Airports.
