Our downtown location is just three blocks from the fine shops and restaurants of Union Square and two blocks from the cable cars where you can ride to Fisherman's Wharf and Ghirardelli Square. Over 75 % of our guest rooms are designated as non-smoking. A full-service hotel, the Best Western Canterbury features Lehr's Greenhouse restaurant, open for breakfast each day. It's a true Greenhouse filled with specimen plants and flowers. Our a-la-carte menu or breakfast buffet is available for purchase. We're also close to other attractions including Chinatown (a nice seven block stroll), the Financial District (just six blocks away), Moscone Convention Center (nine blocks), the incredible Museum of Modern Art (eight blocks), Pacific Bell Park, home of the San Francisco Giants is a short cab ride away. Please note that all distances are approximate. The Best Western Canterbury Hotel contains over 5,000 square feet of flexible meeting space. From our spectacular Greenhouse, stately English ballroom, a variety of smaller board-style rooms, we're perfect for meetings up to 100 persons (theater style or 60 persons in classroom) or seated banquets for up to 200.
