  • The brand new Holiday Inn Pompano Beach was formerly the Howard Johnson Plaza Resort Pompano Beach. The property underwent a $4 million dollar comprehensive renovation which included the guest rooms, portecochere entrance, pool area, lobby, guest reception area, and the addition of Mulligan's Neighborhood Grill and Raw Bar with outdoor cafe' dining. New guest room and suite configuration and amenties consist of rooms with king or double beds (smoking and non-smoking available), each with a private balcony. Handicapped accessable rooms and devices for hearing impared are available. Each suite or guest room has individual climate control, clock radio, coffee maker with complimentary daily coffee, 25 inch remote color TV with and pay per view movies and free cable TV, Ninentendo, 2-two line direct dial telephones with voicemail and modem dataport connention, iron and ironing board, hairdryer, microwave, mini refrigerator and in-room safe. The king rooms are furnished with a work desk area with an easy access dataport conection. The new Mulligan's Neighborhood Grill and Raw Bar restaurant is the talk of the town, open 6:30am-2:00am with room service available. Additionally, the hotel features a swimming pool, and fitness center. Just across the beach access road are public beachside picnic areas with BBQ grills, beachside children's playground, and volleyball courts. The hotel offers free newspaper, dry cleaning service and on premisis coin laundry. The Pompano fishing pier is just 2 blocks North of the property. Scuba diving, boat rentals, fishing charters, casino cruises, Pompano Harness Racing, golf, tennis, shopping and a variety of restaurants are all conveniently nearby. Please note there is an $8.00 overnight parking fee increasing to $10.00, 4/1/04. GUEST(S) MUST BE 21 YEARS OLD OR OVER TO CHECK-IN.
